At University Veterinary Specialists, we know it isn’t always possible for you to transport your pet and that is why we have developed our Pet Transport service in Pittsburgh, PA called the UVS Express. The UVS Express is fully equipped to handle everything from routine pet transport for appointments, to transport of critically ill patients from your primary care veterinarian to our facility, or to help you transport your pet from your home to our facility.
Our vehicle carries the following equipment to ensure we have what is needed to care for your pet during the ride:
- Oxygen
- Anesthesia machine
- Gurney
- Anesthesia monitoring equipment
- Basic surgical kit
- Complement of other smaller medical equipment
