University Veterinary Specialists is seeking emergency doctors to join our exciting, young multi-specialty veterinary practice located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. We are a friendly, collaborative group looking for others who are interested in practicing university level medicine in a supportive environment. ER is the hub of this hospital, not an afterthought or second class department!
Our 25,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art facility features a GE Logiq ultrasound, Olympus endoscopy tower, 16-slice helical GE optima CT Scanner, MRI, full in-house lab, blood bank, underwater treadmill, surgical and critical care ventilators, 3 generously sized ORs, and a pet transport/ambulance. We utilize the latest technology including electronic medical records and cubex pharmacy while providing high level, superior customer service.
The ER service is supported by a boarded criticalist who is available around the clock. We have a very busy ER service and we are continuing to rapidly grow! We are looking for internship-trained, or equally experienced, emergency doctors but would also consider the right new grad who wants to quickly grow.
