University Veterinary Specialists is seeking a full-time Oncologist with residency training in oncology to join our exciting, new veterinary practice located in the south hills of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
UVS is a mixed species (canine, feline, equine) 24-hour multi-specialty veterinary practice that opened in July 2016. UVS will be an innovator in veterinary medicine over the coming years. We are looking for an Oncologist who wishes to build and grow a program that best represents their specialty and meets the needs of pets in the Pittsburgh region.
Our Small Animal team consists of 24/7 trauma and emergency services along with internal medicine, surgery, oncology, dentistry, and canine rehabilitation. We plan to quickly add dermatology and ophthalmology to the working team as soon as possible.
Available onsite state-of-the-art equipment includes: new GE Optima 16-slice helical CT, veterinary specific MRI, GE Logiq ultrasound, endoscopy, extensive in-house laboratory, and underwater treadmill.
